Author’s Mission and Purpose

While Tim Cassidy’s overall mission in life is to serve the Lord in as many ways as possible, his purpose for writing this book was to share several core messages:

  • Bring people together with or without faith and unite them in understanding and acting as the Lord intends, namely loving all as brothers and sisters and showing kindness, grace, mercy, compassion, and service in everyday life.
  • Show those who have fallen away from their Christian faith that all is possible in Him.
  • Challenge good Christians to be great Christians by serving and giving beyond the norm.
  • Inspire those with no faith or alternative faiths to understand (and act upon) core principles predominately shared by all good people.

The Blessings in Doing for Others

Personal and Professional Test recounts the trials and tribulations of patient and public advocacy that was the catalyst for changing nursing home public policies in California. Soon after the arduous and taxing ordeal was over, Tim recognized that the personal hardship on both him and his family served as a blessing that guided him to serve the Lord in doing for others.

The yearn to serve and strive to do for others is recounted throughout the book.
